Things That Do Not Change the Price
Pricing for wasp work can be confusing because some companies add charges for particular circumstances. Ours does not change for any of these:
- The height of the nest, from ground level to the top of a gable.
- Where it is: roof, soffit, wall cavity, loft, shed, hedge or lawn.
- The time of year, including late summer when nests are at their largest.
- How long it takes to find the entrance.
- How many bedrooms the house has. Wasp work is priced per nest, not by room, so halls, landings and the size of the property play no part.
What Can Change the Total
One thing only: a second nest. It is not unusual to find wasps using two entrances, and often those are the same colony. If we find a genuinely separate nest somewhere else on the property, we tell you and confirm the price before treating it. Nothing is added without that conversation.
Businesses are different. Commercial sites are quoted per site, because the work may involve several nests, public areas, timing around opening hours and records. Ask for a quote for the premises if the nest is at a shop, pub, school or workplace.
What to Check in Any Quote

The treatment goes in at the entrance. The wasps become more active for a short time and then quieten over the following hours, usually stopping within a day or two. The entrance must be left open while that happens; blocking it is the most common way a treatment is undone.
