How Much Does It Cost to Get Rid of Fleas in Peterborough?

That is the same price we charge in Cambridge and every other town we cover. Two rooms come to £280, three rooms to £340, and four rooms to £400. Peterborough is not charged extra for the distance.

What the Price Covers

The price is for treating the property, not the animal. On the visit we treat the floor coverings, the edges of each room and the places the pet habitually rests in every room included in the booking. Before we arrive we tell you what preparation is needed, what will be used, where, and when the rooms can be used again.

• No call-out fee on top of the room price.
• Treatment of every booked room, including under and around furniture once the floors are cleared.
• Instructions before and after, including what to do with pets and fish tanks, and how long to leave the carpets unvacuumed.
• The guarantee. Every treatment is guaranteed: if the problem comes back within 14 days of treatment, we return and re-treat free of charge.

The price does not include treating your pet. That should be done at the same time, on a product your vet recommends.

What Decides the Room Count

The rooms that need treating are the rooms the fleas have reached, and that follows the animal. Eggs drop off wherever it walks and sleeps, so a dog that sleeps in the kitchen but spends evenings on the sofa means at least two rooms.

• Bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms, kitchens and studies each count as a room.
• Halls, landings and stairs are not counted as rooms.
• A conservatory or utility room counts if the fleas have reached it, for example because the pet sleeps there.
• Rooms the animal never goes into usually do not need treating.

Tell us about the pet's routine when you ring and we will suggest a room count and confirm the total. Trying to save by treating fewer rooms than the fleas have reached is the most common reason a flea problem carries on.

What Happens on the Day

Floors need to be cleared and the carpets vacuumed before we arrive, and the pet should be out of the rooms being treated. We treat each booked room and tell you how long to stay out. Once the rooms can be used again, walk through them normally, because footfall is what brings the remaining fleas out onto the treated surface.
