Bed Bug Prices
A bed bug treatment in Buckden costs £220 for the first room, plus £80 for each additional room, with no call-out fee. Two rooms come to £300 and three to £380.
Buckden sits south-west of Huntingdon, close to the A1, and it pays the same as the city. There is no village surcharge and no mileage added to the bill. We confirm the figure with you before anything is booked.
The first-room price is not just a charge for spraying one bedroom. It covers the visit as a whole:
Each further room is £80 because the inspection, the travel and the set-up have already been paid for in the first. The bed bug treatment cost guide has the full room-by-room table.
The evidence does. On the day we look for spotting, shed skins, eggs and live insects, starting at the bed and working outwards, and then check anywhere else people have been sleeping. Each room where we find them is a room on the bill. Halls, landings and stairs never count.
So the honest answer to "how much will mine be?" usually depends on one thing you already know: how many places people in the house have slept since the bites started. One bed in one room points to £220. A child who has moved into a parent's bed, or a partner on the sofa, points to more.
It is fair to ask whether you could spend less by doing it yourself. Usually you spend more, just in smaller amounts and over a longer time:
Hot washing and tumble drying bedding is worth doing and costs very little. It is a sensible step alongside treatment, not instead of it. What to do if you have a bed bug infestation covers the first steps in more detail.
When you book we give you a preparation list for your rooms, usually stripping the bed and clearing the floor around it. On arrival we inspect, confirm the room count and the total, and then explain the treatment before starting it, including what to do about pets. If you have a question about a pet, your vet is the right person to ask. Please follow the instructions you are given.
We also tell you whether a follow-up visit is likely, because bed bug eggs are well protected and some jobs need a second pass. You hear that at the quote, not as a surprise later. Every treatment is guaranteed: if the problem comes back within 14 days of treatment, we return and re-treat free of charge.
Our bed bug control page for Buckden covers how to confirm it is bed bugs before you ring. If you are nearer the town, the Huntingdon bed bug page covers the same service. Every other price we charge is on the pest control price list.
Tell us what you have found and where. We confirm the treatment and the price before anything is booked.
