Cockroach Control
We treat cockroaches in homes and rented properties across Cambridge for £260, with no call-out fee. Ring, tell us what you have seen, clear access to the kitchen, and do not spray anything before we arrive.
This page explains the cockroach service from your side: what happens from the first call to the days after treatment. For identifying the species and where they hide, the cockroach control cost guide goes into detail.
Call as soon as you are fairly sure. You do not need to be certain it is a cockroach; a photo or a description is enough for us to tell you whether it is likely. Beetles, crickets and even large woodlice are sometimes mistaken for them, and we would rather tell you that than book a treatment you do not need.
Things worth ringing about straight away:
A few questions let us plan the visit properly:
That last question matters more than people expect. Shop-bought sprays push cockroaches further into the building and can leave a film that stops them taking bait. If you have used one, that is fine, but tell us.
We send you a short preparation list when you book. It usually comes down to access.
For what we tell you about products, rooms and animals, see treatments, pets and family.
The technician confirms the species, finds where the cockroaches are living and treats those hidden areas rather than the open surfaces. They explain what they have used, where it has gone and when the kitchen can be used normally again. You are also told what you are likely to see in the following days, and what to report.
If you want the technical detail, how pest control companies get rid of cockroaches walks through the methods step by step.
Seeing a few cockroaches after treatment is normal. Seeing more each night is not, and we want to hear about it.
Much of Cambridge is older terraced housing, converted flats and student or shared lets. In buildings like these, cockroaches can move between properties through shared pipe runs and voids, so treating one flat while the next is left alone can mean they drift back.
If you rent, tell your landlord or letting agent as soon as you see them. If you are a landlord, it is usually worth treating neighbouring units in the same building at the same time. We can talk that through with whoever is arranging the work.
Cockroach control is £260, with no call-out fee, and the price is confirmed before anything is booked. We tell you before booking whether a follow-up visit is likely. The treatment is guaranteed: if the problem comes back within 14 days of treatment, we return and re-treat free of charge.
Businesses are quoted per site; see cockroach control for your business. Prices for every other pest are on the pest control cost page. To book, call 01223 902388.
Tell us what you have found and where. We confirm the treatment and the price before anything is booked.
