Bed Bug Removal St Neots

The inspection

On the day, we confirm it is bed bugs and check how far they have spread, including neighbouring rooms. It is common to find them a little beyond the room you noticed.

The treatment

Treatment goes into the places bed bugs shelter: the bed frame, the headboard, the mattress seams, the skirting, furniture near the bed and any cracks close by. We tell you what is being used, where, when the rooms can be used again, and what to do about pets, and you should follow those instructions.

The follow-up

Eggs are protected and keep hatching after a first visit, so a follow-up is often needed. We tell you before you book whether we expect one. Every treatment is guaranteed: if the problem comes back within 14 days of treatment, we return and re-treat free of charge.

Preparing Your Home

You will get a list for your rooms when you book. It usually includes:

• stripping the beds and hot-washing and tumble-drying the bedding;
• bagging clothes from the affected rooms and washing them the same way;
• clearing the floor, under the bed and around the edges of the room;
• making the bed frame, headboard and skirting reachable.

Good preparation makes a real difference to how well the treatment works, so it is worth doing properly. If something on the list is difficult for you, tell us when you book.

Flats, Rented Rooms and Landlords

In flats and shared houses, bed bugs can move between rooms and neighbouring homes along pipes, cables and floor voids. If you rent, tell your landlord or agent early. If you suspect a neighbour has them too, it saves a lot of trouble if both properties are checked at the same time.
