• Do not move bags to another room — that is how a one-room job becomes a two-room job

The room

• Clear the floor, particularly around and under the bed
• Pull furniture away from the walls where you can, so the perimeter and the skirting can be reached
• Empty bedside drawers and leave them open
• Do not deep-clean or shampoo — there is no benefit before treatment and it must not happen afterwards either
• Leave the bed in place. We need it where it is
