What actually happens on the day, and the honest answer to the question everybody asks: will one visit be enough?
Sometimes, and often not. Bed bug eggs are well protected, and insects hatching after the treatment has been applied are the usual reason a second visit is needed.
Where we expect that, we will tell you at the quotation stage rather than afterwards. A first treatment that gets most of them followed by an unmentioned second visit is not a cheaper job, it is a worse conversation.
Expect to see the occasional insect for a while afterwards. That is one walking through a treated surface, not evidence that nothing happened. If bites continue beyond the period we describe, tell us rather than waiting.
We inspect, confirm the extent, and tell you before booking whether we expect a follow-up visit to be needed.
Treatment is a residual insecticide placed into the crevices where the insects actually harbour. You hear the treatment and the figure before anything is committed.
Our current price is £220 first room, +£80 per additional room. There is no call-out fee, and the figure is confirmed with you before anything is booked — never afterwards.
Our Bed Bug Control cost guide explains what the price covers and what happens on the day, and every price we charge is published on the pest control price list.
Bed bug eggs are well protected. A product applied to surfaces does not reach them, which is why a DIY attempt so often looks successful for a fortnight and then does not.
