People book squirrel work because of the noise. The noise is the least of it — what matters is what is being done to the roof space while you listen to it.
A squirrel is a rodent with a great deal of strength for its size, and a roof space contains everything it wants: shelter, warmth, nesting material and things to gnaw.
Squirrel work is £280 fixed cost. It is more than our rodent treatments because it is a trapping programme with repeat visits rather than a single application, and the price does not move once it is quoted.
We survey the roof space for the damage as much as the animal — wiring, insulation, timber and the water tank — because that is what the job is actually protecting.
Trapping then runs until the space is confirmed clear. What we will do and what it costs are settled before the booking.
Our current price is £280 fixed cost. There is no call-out fee, and the figure is confirmed with you before anything is booked — never afterwards.
Our Squirrel Trapping cost guide explains what the price covers and what happens on the day, and every price we charge is published on the pest control price list.
Waiting to see whether it settles down is the expensive option here. Nothing stops while you wait, and stripped insulation on a cable in a roof void is not a problem you get to see coming.
