Where there are animals there is a fly pressure that no amount of treating the room will overcome. The job is managing the source, and that is mostly not chemical.
Animal bedding, manure and feed are ideal fly breeding material, and the volume involved means the numbers can be very high. Stables, poultry, kennels, aviaries and even a well-kept rabbit hutch all create a standing source.
A treatment kills the adults present and leaves a residual on the surfaces they rest on. If the breeding material is still there in quantity, the population regenerates continuously, and you are buying a fortnight at a time.
On animal premises, management of the material is the control. The treatment supports it; it does not replace it.
Pets indoors are a smaller version of the same thing: the litter tray, the food bowl and any waste in the garden are the sources, and dealing with them does more than any product.
Where animals are involved we assess the breeding material as the primary issue, because that is what governs the population.
Treatment reduces the adults and supports the management rather than replacing it. You get the treatment and the figure before anything is booked.
Our current price is £180 fixed cost. There is no call-out fee, and the figure is confirmed with you before anything is booked — never afterwards.
Our Fly Control cost guide explains what the price covers and what happens on the day, and every price we charge is published on the pest control price list.
Fly papers and sprays around a stable treat a fraction of what is being produced. With that volume of breeding material the population regenerates continuously, and only managing the material changes it.
