- Go and look for evidence in the corresponding part of the building, and outside at the wall or roofline below it.
- Photograph anything you find with something for scale.
Why Guessing Is Expensive
- Treating the wrong species is a treatment paid for and a problem still there
- Blocking a hole on a guess can seal an animal or dependent young into the structure
- Acting on a protected species is a serious matter rather than a wasted visit
